Junior Accountant

To expand our financial team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part within our organization and have the opportunity to further develop yourself in accountancy.

 

Your Role:  

  • Preparing financial data required for monthly and annual closures to ensure that all figures are timely and accurate.  
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices, while also following up on outstanding payments and ensuring timely reminders to debtors.  
  • Assisting in the preparation of documents for tax returns, such as VAT and corporate taxes, by gathering and verifying relevant information for accuracy.  
  • Providing support during audits by preparing the necessary documentation, making financial data available, and addressing auditors’ questions.  
  • Contributing to the preparation of the annual accounts.  
  • Identifying inefficiencies in financial processes and suggesting improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.  
  • Maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication on financial matters.  

 

Your Profile:  

  • A completed education in a financial field or relevant experience in a financial role.  
  • Strong verbal and written proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and quick adaptability to new programs.  
  • Precision, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn in task execution.  
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
