Logistics Specialist BYD

We are looking for Logistics Specialist to play a key role in the delivery process of our vehicles and ensuring a smooth and excellent experience for our customers.  

Your role
As a Logistics Specialist in our Distribution business, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of vehicles, inventory, and documentation through close collaboration with internal teams and our logistics partners, including BYD Europe Logistics. You will manage SAP VMS and SD modules to support end-to-end logistics and invoicing processes, guarantee compliance with local regulations, and identify opportunities for process improvements that will drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules to support logistics, invoicing, stock management, and credit notes, ensuring that data is accurate, updated, and aligned with our retail and operational requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate transportation with local partners, ensuring timely and accurate stock flow for distribution, warehousing, and retail needs.
  • Ensure smooth operations for retail, including invoicing, stock management, and credit note processing, to maintain efficient, reliable transactions.
  • Strengthen relationships with BYD Europe Logistics, improving communication protocols and identifying areas to streamline and enhance logistics processes across the distribution chain.
  • Monitor, collect, and process necessary documentation for the registration and compliance of vehicles in local markets, ensuring all requirements are met prior to distribution.

 

Your profile

  • Familiarity with logistics processes is essential, and knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach, with excellent planning and follow-up capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential. You are fluent in French and Dutch and have a strong command of English.
  • Solid Excel skills are essential.
  • Independent, resourceful, and focused on finding solutions and seizing opportunities.
