As a Marketing Technology & Data Expert specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you will develop and maintain journeys, emails, and automations to execute newsletters, automated campaigns, and integrate with external platforms. Your role is crucial in helping us proactively approach our (potential) customers and generate leads and business opportunities.
 
Your role

  • Within the marketing vision and strategy, you work on building, maintaining, and enhancing the local marketing technology landscape. You understand how systems and tools are connected and how they interact, always using the customer-first mindset in your approach.
  • You analyze customer data coming from various sources. Based on that, you collaborate with the campaign managers on building informed segmentation, customer approach, campaigns, business opportunities, etc. and you take the lead in the development cycle.
  • In collaboration various different teams across the company, you define scenarios with regard to automation and a personalized approach towards customer engagement.
  • You are an expert in the established marketing technology field of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and train and guide colleagues in its use.
  • You ensure that colleagues from other departments and our distribution network have access to customer data and provide guidance on using this data effectively.
  • You stay up-to-date with the latest developments regarding marketing technology and propose internal optimizations.
  • You set up performance reporting regarding campaigns, customer groups, segments,  and more.
  • You work closely with the other Marketing Colleagues to ensure a cohesive strategy and execution.
  • You report to the Head of Customer Loyalty.

 

Your profile

  • You have experience and ambition in marketing technology, particularly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (e.g. Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, etc.).
  • Preferably you already have a first experience with analysis tools (such as Power BI, Alteryx), SQL, data architectures, customer facing systems (ERP, CRM, data warehouse) and/or marketing clouds.
  • You are analytically strong and have a quick understanding of data, systems and tools.
  • You are proactive and results-driven with the ability to manage projects and ensure progress.
  • You are organizationally strong and approach things on a project basis. You ensure that things move forward, ensure that all parties achieve their results and can resolve any issues that arise.
  • Based on your expertise, you act as a credible discussion partner for colleagues and external parties.
  • You pay close attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
