Your role
Comprehensive Logistics Management:
- Coordinate and supervise all logistics existing vehicle and parts activities across Toyota and Lexus.
- Set up a new – separate – logistics platform (vehicles and parts) for the BYD brand.
- Oversee the full logistics picture of all process flows, platforms and connecting tools and information communication (logistics architecture).
Stakeholder management:
- Act as a liaison between all stakeholders, including dealerships, logistic hubs, and external partners.
- Serve as the primary logistics contact with other departments, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Budget & Efficiency:
- Set up and manage the annual logistics budget.
- Develop a strategic plan towards logistics in order to efficiently supply our dealerships.
Project Leadership & SAP Migration:
- Lead and contribute to ongoing logistics projects, including investments in infrastructure and processes.
- Act as a Key User during the SAP migration from SAP Gold to SAP VMS, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of new systems.
Team & Succession Planning: Develop the logistics team, addressing staffing needs and preparing the team for future growth, particularly with the expanding BYD activities.
