Car Logistics Employee

Are you a driven professional with a passion for logistics? At Inchcape, we are looking for a Car Logistics Employee to strengthen our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Toyota/Lexus dealership network in vehicle logistics.

Your role:

  • First point of contact for Toyota/Lexus dealers: answering questions by phone and email regarding vehicle deliveries and expected delivery times.  
  • Support internal colleagues by providing information on order status.  
  • Manage and track fleet orders in the ERP system.  
  • Maintaining contact with the Car Centre in Bruges, where vehicles are stored.  
  • Administrative follow-up of transport damage cases.  
  • Actively contribute to improving logistics processes and flows.

 
Your profile: 

  • Excellent command of Dutch and French. English is an asset when dealing with international colleagues.  
  • Good command of MS Office and ability to learn ERP systems quickly.  
  • Strong communication skills, with a customer focus and service-oriented approach.  
  • Accurate and organised work, with excellent priority management.  
  • Understanding of logistics processes and sensitivity to the importance of deliveries to customers.  
  • Experience in the automotive sector is a plus, but not essential.  
  • Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a dynamic environment.  
  • Resistance to stress, a hands-on mentality and a willingness to take ownership of their files.
