Our BYD Aftersales team is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team in Zaventem. In this position, you will be the link between the customer and the workshop. You ensure smooth communication, accurate planning, and a professional follow-up of service activities.
What you’ll do
- Welcome customers and handle phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Deliver serviced vehicles and provide clear, professional feedback.
- Prepare and explain price estimates in consultation with the workshop.
- Arrange replacement vehicles when needed, including document handling and return inspection.
- Proactively manage workshop scheduling and productivity.
- Coordinate daily with colleagues in the workshop and warehouse.
- Create and process work orders and invoices accurately.
- Perform administrative tasks such as archiving, cash handling, and audit documentation.
- Monitor procedures to ensure compliance with audit and internal standards.
- Apply all valid After Sales procedures.
Oversee service quality control and manage invoicing.
- Enter and follow up on warranty claims and recall campaigns.
- Maintain and update customer and vehicle data in the system.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be:
- You have a degree in administration or a technical field, or have experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge and an interest in automotive processes allow you to understand workshop operations and customer needs.
- You are proficient in MS Word and Excel and use these tools effectively to manage daily tasks.
- Fluent communication in French and Dutch is essential, and a good command of English supports your interactions in a multilingual environment.
- You consistently deliver a professional and welcoming customer experience, both in person and through other channels.
- A structured and detail-oriented approach helps you stay on top of administrative responsibilities.
- You communicate clearly, and you collaborate easily across departments.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Define and execute the aftersales and dealer support strategy, ensuring strong network performance, customer satisfaction, and business profitability.
- Oversee all operations support functions, including technical assistance, warranty, field support, network development, training, and facilities.

Job requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior automotive management, preferably in aftersales, technical, or dealer operations.
- Strong knowledge of dealer performance management, warranty, and network development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
- Financially savvy, digitally minded, and skilled at driving operational excellence through change and collaboration.

As the Belgium IT Service Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing IT operations and driving continuous improvements across day-to-day activities, all while supporting the EU project delivery agenda. Collaborating closely with the Senior IT Manager, you will enhance IT assurance and elevate service quality through well-established policies, processes, and controls.
In this role, you will be the primary IT partner for the local business, ensuring seamless service delivery, effective stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence. You will serve as a crucial link between regional/global IT teams and the local market, managing everything from daily IT operations to the rollout of strategic projects.
Your Role
- Act as the primary IT contact for local business and key escalation point for all IT-related matters.
- Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and ITSM processes are consistently met across internal and external providers.
- Build strong relationships with local business leaders including the Country Manager, Dealership Managers, and heads of key departments (Sales, Aftersales, Finance, HR, etc.).
- Manage relationships with IT suppliers: approve invoices, control costs, resolve incidents, and ensure compliance with Inchcape policies.
- Lead IT compliance efforts (GDPR, MCF, IT Security) and own IT audit responsibilities at the country level.
- Collaborate with regional/global infrastructure and security teams to implement frameworks (e.g., NIST, ITGC).
- Own and manage the local IT Service Delivery budget (Opex & Capex).
- Support the transition of projects into BAU with proper documentation and processes.
- Maintain and update IT service documentation (policies, procedures, manuals).
- Ensure business continuity plans (DRP, backup strategies) are in place for IT services.
- Contribute to regional/global standardization and synergy initiatives across applications and infrastructure.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Your Profile
Must-Haves
- 5–10 years’ experience in IT service delivery or operations.
- Strong track record managing IT services and suppliers.
- Experience with ERP systems and IT security/compliance (e.g. GDPR, MCF).
- Fluent in French or Dutch with excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
- Analytical, proactive, and self-driven with a hands-on mindset.
- Calm, structured, and solution-oriented under pressure.
